Looking back, OESM as a clan had faced what would later become some of the biggest names and or llamas in TFC.

KoD, A-D of aD fame and a couple other clans in there that have had some pretty big impacts on tfc. SG1..wow.

Yeah, but we gave A-D 2 beatings and one slight pummel. I would rather not think about the KoD match, however. That was painful being a man down... not that we didn't have 9 in the server, but oh well.

The KoD game was long before our time in OESM I believe frosty. I think dave is reffering to 'being a man down' by the shit a not-so-liked person pulled in the server.

Nasty, The date of that match was Oct. 30, 2000, my memory might be faulty, but didn't OESM disband Dec. 25, 2000, that would mean were in OESM at the time...

of course I could be a year off, but I'm pretty sure that we were in OESM at that time...

I remember KoD. That was during my time, so I am pretty sure it was before Frosty's. I also remember several PISSY matches where the opposing team said they were lagging to hell (like 50-150ms) and so we had to go to THEIR server where WE lagged completly out. I don't think DLink lagged off but I remember lagging out and dropping where my ping on most any other server was 200-300ms (56k days, yay!). That one was before DHTA even formed in TFC way back in like, 1.0.1.6!

Dlink, how many times did OESM play KoD? I'm not trying to argue any points...but I'm quite sure nasty and I joined in August of 2000, that match was in October...or are the Dates on that board messed up? This is really starting to annoy me...why can't I remember when we joined...

Back to when you left OESM Seph, you created DHTA around April or May 2000 (again I could be mistaken), And you weren't in OESM when you mad DHTA...
Nasty and I left around the end of July, or beginning of August...

OESM the clan died in December of 2000 and OESM the hosting company started in January of 2001.

Uh actually Frosty, if you want to know where the name DHTA ( Dark Horsemen of the Apocolypse ) came from, it was me.

Seph and I were deciding what to name the clan and what the tag should be, so I picked [DHTA]

KoD was in April of 2000. That match I linked to at the beginning was the end of October, and one of our very last matches ever (we had a small 2 month stint in OGL at the end, I think we broke right at rung 9 or 10 then called it quits).

Yup, Nasty and I founded DHTA. If I remember correctly we tried to do TF1.5 originally, and that didn't work so half of us went to Unreal Gold/*seph's a fag*, while the other half stayed behind. Funny, but we've not yet run across the crap we had to deal with in TF and later, DMC. Though I do admit, the old TFC pwned. Maybe I should break out my old UCC files and finish the *seph's a fag* port, haha!
