holiday wish list?

Postby [OESM]DeckonFrost-AS- » Thu Nov 21, 2002 10:25 pm

Forums seem a little slow, so I thought I'd ask a pointless question...

Out of curiosity, what's your holiday wish list gaming wise...whether you celebrate the holidays or not, I'm sure there are a few games out there that you want...

Personally, I wanted Metriod (buought myself an early Xmas gift), James bond Nightfire, and Mech 4: Mercs.

I can honestly say that nothing on my wishlist is video game related. There aren't any that can hold my interest anymore. My wishlist is almost exclusively home theater and related.

By the way, if anyone's looking for a nice lcd color remote, but you don't want to pay a grand for the new pronto, check this combo out:

Dell Axim X5 pocket pc ($199 and I have a 10% coupon on top of that) ... _entry.htm

And the Griffin Tech Total Remote hardware/software bundle ($30 bucks) ... index.html

So for just over $200 bucks you get everything that the pronto at a grand has to offer, plus more colors (16bit vs 256 colors), more memory (32mb vs 8mb), more functionality (a fully featured pocketpc running pocketpc 2002 premium vs a single function remote), and you could add an $80 wifi card to the cf slot (or any cf card for that matter) and have an rf remote for use anywhere in the house.

Just had to toss this out, not sure if anyone who visits here is into this sort of stuff. But if you are, you can see the awesome value.

GeForceFX! For those of you who don't keep up with nVidia, that's the name of the new "nv30" video card. Details released by nVidia claim that it can render Toy Story or Ice Age video as smooth as anything. Could you imagine playing a game that took advantage of that tech?! I've GOTTA' get one if I have to rob a bank to buy it!@#
