DLink, is it cool if I use a CGI script that will allow a user (via name/pw I specify in a file above my web-viewable one) to write a text file in the web directory under my account? Wanted to ask before attempting since I found out you didn't allow SSH access until a few days ago.

Yeah I know but I wanted to be SURE you didn't mind. It woul suck to wake up and check my email and find "Hey bitch, scripts that write to the drive are not permitted" in my inbox, lol!

Most scripts do some sort of writes, be it logging or data collection. Just as long as it's not allowing them to upload huge files to share.
