Question time W/ desyphur

Yeah the Windoze kernel does stupid things when run with wierd configs, or non-optimized configs. Luckily, I haven't seen a blue-screen since the day 98SE came out ! Though it's good, it can't touch X-Win, and X-Win can't touch TRUE Linux (known to X-Win kiddies as "the shell"). I am debating going all-Linux on my next machine. Heck, all the new games support Linux (Linux ports) and though I will have to suffer and use X-Win, I would have an even more stable OS.

Question time W/ desyphur

Postby DeSyPhUr » Thu Apr 25, 2002 12:15 pm

hello and welcome back to question time with desyphur. This years category: Desy's fuxored computer.

"An exception OE has occured at 0028:C002B27A IN VxD NTKERN(01)+ 0000B16A called from 0028:C002F285 in VxD NTKERN(01)"

Now this message shows up on a blue screen, sometimes, when a server changes maps and or when i try to join a server. I havent got this message ever before, until I installed 1.4. Well I can play, sometimes, but like every so often that screen will come up at map change and i have to restart my whole computer. I wish I knew what that exception OE was so I could fix/delete it. DLink rescue me once again my Computer Knight on your shinny white keyboard.

Your kernel jumped off a tall building. Could be any of 2845239834597283 things.
