OK, check out this screenshot of an ENTIRE outdoor arena made of rolling desert hills, running VERY smoothly on a low-end machine. The reason is that the map was compiled using my custom visualization program using Unreal source (don't tell Infogrames). Now, I shrunk the image from 800x600 to 640x480, but you should be able to see the netgraph in the lower-right. You can see up to 4096 units away and the map is 6144x6144 total, so part of it IS trimmed, but you get the idea (4096 is the default view).

Yeah, I just typed in the addy like a dumba$$. I d idn't do the ubb/html stuff. I also shrunk it from 800x600 to 640x480, but you get the idea.

OK then Rim, drop by my server ANY time! You can message me on Trillian and I'll send you the map. You yourself can play it and see the amazing frames in action. The final version of desert is a night-time setting with several ambient sounds, TRUE teamplay (teamspawns, team-only doors/items, and bases), and weapons uniqe to each team. The textures are included in the bsp in case some nimrod deletes say, halflife.wad [img]images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img] . It weighs in around 1.8mb unzipped, and around 780kb rared up.

Read this as: Whatever team Seph joins gets everything, other team gets toothpicks and fingernail clippers.

I wish. The Gordon team gets a crowbar, shotty, super-shotty, and thunderbolt. The Recons ONLY get a crowbar, grenade launcher, and rocket launcher. This may sound oh so unfair to you, but remember, this is an entire outdoor arena, and lemme' tell you, hitting a player from 2048+ units away requires an INSANE amount of lead, and even then the player can dodge, unless he's stupid. You have to literally back a Gordon into a corner so you can get in close to kick his butt, but be aware that he has a thunderbolt for these close encounters. All in all, my clan says it pwnz!
