Just reformat with the OS of your choice, easy way to start from a clean slate. Just backup your docs and such and have at it. If you need a version of Windows at a... um... *cough*bargain*cough* email me privately off-list and I'll see about hooking you up.

Hey Dlink, don't forget that thes new computers that come with "restore" disks don't recognize OS disks...I know..I tried on a friends...

I think something is set up in the bios to look for a restore disk... it was a pain in the arse...

You try to load an OS and NOT the restore disk and it spits out: "this disk is not supported...blah blah blah, please insert your system restore disk" I think the restore disk was the worst idea ANYONE has come up with...on the side of the consumer that is...great for Microsoft...
