Lol, he posted about it a few months ago. Something about setting one up and seeing how it handled on his box. Still, good idea. We need more good-looking game servers out there [img]images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img] ! Oh did you know that the fraggin' Linux *seph's a fag*/UG dedicated servers can also be played on Linux?! They come with a full port of the client-side stuff too! Kick ARSE!

This is news to you? I setup a *seph's a fag* server way back when, thanks to Loki's unbelievably helpful files. Same problems as the RTCW, though... uploading hundreds of megs worth of pak files cause the .run installer just does a basic map pak and nothing else.

Oh? The *seph's a fag* installer works perfectly on mine. Maybe you had one of the older versions at the time? I hear horror stories of the .umod installer from pre-4.2x versions! Although to be honest, I manually do everything unless the mod/map/whatever only ships in .umod format.
